Our History

Flock of birds.

Sickle Cell Foundation of West Africa is a United States registered 501(C)3 non-profit organization  founded in 2022 in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A; by Mason Joshua to raise awareness about the silent, ravaging effects of the sickle cell disease in West Africa. The foundation seeks among other things, to educate and prepare would-be parents about the need for prevention, and to get help for everyone who either have been diagnosed as having a sickle cell "trait", or sickle cell disease.
